I have a Kenmore washer with a defective timer switch. The model of the washer is 11024662300. When I punched the numbers for the machine into the Kenmore site it looks like the part number is WP8542054 and the cost runs between 250 and 280 dollars Canadian. Can anybody tell me if I can use a different part number of timer on this machine. I found a cheaper timer with the part number 3351119 for about 100 dollars Canadian and I'm hoping this would work.
Thanks in advance.
