Finally spider failed after on out front loader. Original set up has wave washer under the seal on hte shaft. New replacement spider has small o-ring in shallow groove on the shaft where normally wave washer sits.
I looked at the parts listing and wave washer is discountinued.
I called partpros and sent pictures.. .so far no response while washing machine is still apart.

what is the story with wave washer and now small o-ring on the shaft?
