I have a Whirlpool wfw9150ww01. I load clothes and the controls seem to work fine but water never flows into the machine. The machine stops when it thinks it should have water and move onto the next process.

I read that for this particular model that the temperature sensor is almost always the cause when there is no hot nor cold water flow.

I changed the temperature sensor and it is doing the same thing.

The valve seems to have two coils (one for hot and one for cold) so I am hesitant to believe the valve is the cause. I need some good advice.

P.S. Can I bypass the temp sensor to temporarily test to make sure my replacement is not defective?

Thanks
