Hello everyone. Thank you in advance for any help.

My washer makes a squeaking noise after bearing replacement. The sound is like the squeak you get when a metal surface moves along rubber.

I've replaced the bearings and the bearing seal and reassembled the washer. For comparison, I have another identical washer of the same brand and model. In the identical second washer the stainless steel basket spins with very little effort. The basket in the machine I replaced the bearings and bearing seal spins with resistance and make the squeaking noise.

I try to run a Clean/Refresh cycle and the machine errors out with "rL". With the added drum resistance, the machine thinks there are clothes in the drum when there are not.

I wonder if I may have over-tightened the spindle nut?

Any help or hints is much appreciated! Thank you!
