The water would not pump out while doing laundry, so I replaced the timer. It was hard to find. Unfortunately it did not fix the problem. I checked the pump for something lodged in there, and it was clean. And then I discovered the lid switch was broken, so I bypassed it. But the motor is still not turning.

Right now, I have the washer in the garage, without access to water. Upon starting the timer, I can hear the humming as if it wants to fill with water. A quiet hum.

I wanted to see if it would attempt to drain and spin, not that theres actually water in it. At the same point as before on the dial, the timer just buzzes.

At no point during this does the motor start up or make noise. I did check the motor with the surround off, and it spun freely.

When all this happened at first, the motor and agitator were working.

I'm at a loss of what to do next. The videos regarding couplings seem to have the motor running loudly. I don't have this.

I tried to turn the drum and agitator and they won't move. Locked transmission?
