Well.. Had a first world problem occure about two weeks ago when i noticed the basket on our less than 3 year old amana washer sitting about 4 inches from the rim while it had a load in it.

Of course when i called best buy they said they won't be sending people out till the 18th. Fine. 18th rolls around and I call again. The geek squad rep I spoke with informed me that they dont know when they will be doing in home repairs.. Wonderful.. After a short conversation the rep said he would send send the parts(shocks) for free if i wanted to do it myself. Duh... Send it.

Parts arrived today and after about 45 minutes or so the washer was back together. Stuck a medium size load of towels in to test her out.

Ill be dipped in shit if if when i opened the lid the son of a mother lovin basket is sitting about 3.5 inches from the rim... I have never seen a basket do this.

Is this normal for this washer?
