I need guidance on the reinstall of a water inlet valve. This old machine (Kenmore 90 series) has become a major rehab project. New trans, agitator, water temp control, timer, water level switch and lid switch. Added the inlet valve because the old one was not functioning. Now, the machine will not completely fill on any cycle. We get 30 seconds of flow then the valve stops and just hums.

In order to get a full tub we have to keep switching between wash cycle settings. This valve is new and the connections are the same (3 plugs on 3 solenoids). Anyone ever experienced this?
