I have a LG front load washer Model WM2240CW. The bearings went bad and need replacing. I followed the video and took the washer apart. Most of the video was right on. I had trouble freeing the inner tub from the bearings. When it came apart i found the inner bearing had fallen completely apart. After removing the remains of the bearing i noticed that there was a round plate like that is part of the shaft just above the spider. I looked at the spot where the inner bearing goes and observed what appears to be the outer part of the bearing attached to the outer tub. I applied some WD-40 in an attempt to free it, but it appears like it was built into the outer tub. Is this possible or is it just being hard to come off? If you have any suggestions on how to solve this problem or if i just need to buy the tub part?
