I have a GE GTWN5650F2WS top-load washing machine. Sometimes it runs great and other times it shuts off before draining/spinning.

If I turn the cycle selector to 'Drain and Spin' it will do so perfectly 100% of the time. I pulled the error code and I am getting an e2 error Drain Pump.

Before I throw parts at it, does it make sense that it would be the drain pump when it works perfectly on the 'Drain and Spin' setting? It seems like it's shutting off before it makes it that far during regular cycles.

I have verified that it is NOT the lid being open or bad lid sensor. Thoughts?

Thanks!
