Hello,
I am in the middle of replacing my spider and bearings for a Samsung WF431ABP/XAA front load washer. When I pulled the drum, the bearings and seal were damaged and badly corroded.

On some tear down videos I have seen a wave washer that is supposed to go on the shaft next to the inside bearing. Mine did not have this -- instead, on the old spider shaft I found and removed with as thin screwdriver a thin concave washer that was attached to some pieces of rubber (see pictures in next post) - this was down below where the seal sits.

So: is this piece part of my damaged seal, or is this something I need to replace when I put it all back together? I did not find anything on the parts diagrams, so I'm thinking is part of the damaged seal.

Any help appreciated!
