Hey all I'm new to fridge repair but am an audio electronics tech so somewhat capable in regards to troubleshooting and electronics.

The ice maker in this fridge...my fridge...stopped making ice. The ice maker does not have any handy dandy test points on the front per all the videos I've watched. Here's what I've checked.

No cubes in the tray
Water pressure from floor line to valve is good
No VAC on valve coil terminals (is this only there for 7 seconds right after the tray spits out the ice?)

Haven't tried blowing in the inlet tube from valve to ice box yet
Haven't checked coil continuity on valve (I found out Bout these tips after reassembling the fridge and it's late)

My guess is the valve electrically or mechanically failed.

I'm trying to narrow my search for the culprit. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I think you should go with hiring the expert team who can give you the repairing service of the ice maker of your fridge. Some of them I know who provide this service are Electricians Glen Mills PA, Para Electric, Martella Electric. These professionals provide the repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment including the maintenance of fridge, AC, ceiling fans, breaker panels, smoke detectors, etc. You can contact them anytime you wish, for the repair and maintenance of your fridge.

Isn't this forum for asking advice on fixing something yourself? I wouldn't be posting on here if I just wanted to pay someone to fix it. I enjoy puzzles and fixing things. It's a fun exercise.
