I have to replace the coupling. Is there a step by step procedure to do this?

Remove the pump and motor and replace the coupler. Turn the tranny coupler clockwise till the spin basket starts to turn. If hard to turn with thumb and forefinger, you have bad brake shoes. Post results. Whirlpool (also Kenmore, Kitchen Aid, Roper, Estate, and Kirkland washers) direct drive washer coupling Part number: AP3963893
