Hello forum,
My refrigerator compressor died recently and the search for a new refrigerator has made me quite angry. The new refrigerators are pretty much designed to only last about ten years although many of them are pretty expensive. This has got me to thinking. Since new refrigerators have such shoddy made compressors, would it be possible to have them upgraded to a higher quality non oem compressor unit? How much trouble would it be to have this done if possible? I don't mind the added expense but I want to have an appliance that can give service like they used to. I'm tired of rewarding these makers for such pitiful products. Thanks.
