Hi guys, My Kenmore 80 Series Model 110 motor doesn`t drain or spin in any of the 4 possible selector dial positions. It does fill with water and the agitator works. When it gets to the drain part, everything stops. Anybody know what`s wrong? cluelessguy attached the following image(s):

Lid switch. 90% of the time. Look for where the pin on the lid passes through the top when the lid is closed. It should be depressing the paddle of the switch, you can simulate that pin with a pencil or other object that fits into the hole. if no distinct click your switch is broken. They split horizontally and the pin on the lid just pushes the 2 halves apart instead of closing the switch. Since you have it open you've disconnected the lid switch and can bypass it. The switch itself is on the cabinet, you'll need to jump the 2 non green wires on the harness going toward rear panel. If you have a well insulated set of needle nose pliers they can do it but if not sure use a piece of wire with bare ends while it's unplugged from wall. It's easier to push wire in the back of the plug. Whirlpool WP3949238 Lid Switch Assembly - AppliancePartsPros.comor Whirlpool 3949247V Washer Lid Switch - AppliancePartsPros.com
