Repaired broken wire to Water Temp Sensor. Checked continuity from Water Temp Sensor to CCU. 14 k ohm at 70 F - good. Ran through Diagnostic Test - Cleared codes - 88 displayed. Unplugged from power. Plugged back in.. Same code F3E2. Is there a way to do a "hard reset"?

My washer has the F3E2 error.
It is the temperature sensor. In my case, it was the wire going to the temp sensor which broke when I touched it.
1) Remove the top panel 2) Remove the rear panel 3) Looking in the rear of the machine, there is a small bundle of wires going from the lower left towards the tub. The two black wires go to the sensor which is on the tub rear. Follow the black wires and 'man-handle' them a little bit. For me, one of the black wires broke right at a zip-tie. The wire on the 'tub-side' of the zip-wire broke because it needs to flex ad the tub vibrates...just like bending a paper-clip repeatedly. It will break.
Fix by removing a little bit of insulation, twist together, solder or do something to keep them together. And CUT that one particular zip tie.
Ta-Da!!!
