Hello Everyone!

So my husband and I have been troubleshooting this a bit, but now we're at a loss as replacing the timing circuit didn't fix the problem. We troubleshoot medical equipment as our 9-5 so we thought we had a washer in the bag, even without a service manual. Hah.

The washer will fill if set to the rinse cycle. It will agitate. It will drain. It will spin.

It just won't start if you try to set the main knob on an actual cycle, ie "Normal - Heavy - 14" or "Casual - Regular - 10" etc.

I was wondering if maybe the knob was misaligned, but, as previously stated, if you skip the beginning of the cycle and just set it to "Rinse", it will fill/agitate/drain/spin.

Been trying to do some research, but it doesn't seem like anyone else is exhibiting the same symptoms!

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

During the normal wash, does any water come into the tub?

Does the tub get full?

Have you tried hot, warm, and cold settings?

Have you checked the temperature switch?
