Hello. So I turned on my oven yesterday and smelled something burning then there was smoke coming out of the oven control panel. Then I heard like a pop and the panel went blank. The gas burners are working if I manually light them, but otherwise anything electrical is not working (starter, light, oven etc). I'm assuming that the entire control panel for the oven is gone. My question is whether it's even worth repairing as the oven is about 12 years old or should I just replace the oven? Thanks for your input.

Without opening it up and seeing what is fried, its pretty hard to say if its worth fixing.

But, it sounds like you would need a new Oven Control board. They are $107 and maybe the wiring harness? I guess it depends on how much stuff burned up.

I think this is the harness, but can't be 100% sure.

It might be more than its worth at its age.
