I have a Kenmore model 665.60612000 microwave that has quit heating.
I think that the diode is bad but I cant find it.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Have you opened it up yet? The diode is pretty easy to find. It is usually near the magnetron and one end is screwed to frame. The other end is attached to the magnetron or the capacitor.

It should look like this one.

Thanks for the reply. I have opened the switch panel and that is where the cap and fan motor are I think the magnetron is in the the compartment above. There is a grill that covers that compartment and can not be removed because it is constrained on both sides. I guess you have to take it down and remove the case to get into that compartment?
Thanks again.
