I have a Samsung WA400p that will no longer spin at high speed. I've had a ton of issues with this washer (mostly draining) but this is a new one. The water is draining, but now the washer won't spin. When I run a calibration cycle, it does sounds like the agitator is spinning slowly in those 1-2 second increments during calibration. If I choose Rinse+Spin, it does spin back-and-forth as normal until it's time for the high-speed spin...then nothing. During a Spin cycle or normal wash, there's no spinning either. It runs the drain pump and drains on regular cycles, but doesn't spin in between those cycles. No error codes are displayed.
Anything easy I might be able to check myself?
Thanks...

After normal use for 2.5 years, I had a similar problem with my Samsung Front Load washer Model (WF42H5000AW) not going into high speed at the end of wash cycle. No error codes, just goes into a loop to pump water out, then drum spins weakly 1/4 of a revolution, then tries to pump out water again. I bought and replaced the Motor Control Inverter Board (Part# DC92-01531B). Don't confuse this part with the Main Control Board because the Main Control Board does not control the High Speed Spin Cycle, only the Motor Control Inverter Board controls speed! The Speed / Motor Control Inverter Board is in the back and bottom of the washer; we can see it after removing the back panel. The motor control board gets very hot so it has a heat sink with aluminum fins to cool it when the washer is operational. Due to the heating and cooling, the Motor Control Board is prone to breaking down in a few years. Please remember to buy the matching part for your washer model. It will take about 15 minutes to replace it with only a screw driver. Does this help?
