This washer stopped in the middle of cycle. Now it will fill, then nothing. The motor does not even hum. Just sits there after filling. Water level selector switch working properly. Transmission and belts are fine. Nothing stuck between inner and outer tub. Don't think it's a lid switch issue as the fuse is still good. Thinking maybe motor or timer. How would I narrow it down? Any other suggestions? Thanks

Thanks very much! Good to know. I was thinking if either the lid or check switches were bad, they would blow the fuse. Is there a trick to getting the top completely off? I'll ohm them out and get back. Thanks again!

Switches were good, but the spring loaded switch activator was binding.

They have a complicated design as far as lid switches go. That's why they tend to have a lot of issues. Glad to hear you got it all figured out!
