I removed the defrost Thermister to test after the defrost coil showed 29 ohm
resistance and I assume is OK.
The Thermister resistance is open at room temp and on ice from a working freezer.
How can the thermister be tested to show that it is bad and the reason that my
Amana side by side, ices up after a few days.
If it is open on ohm test at room temp as well as on ice, is it bad?
