Our less than 2-year old top loader Cabrio has a constant musty/moldy odor despite the fact that we always leave the lid up when not in use and use a detergent that includes hydrogen peroxide and ammonia which should ward away mold. We also wipe the interior of the drum dry after completing a load of laundry. We have seen this experience echoed in other online reviews and are thinking there is a design flaw with the Carbrio. I am aware of the "Affresh" product but don't want to use it since I am chemically sensitive.

My hubby wants to disassemble the washer so that we can inspect the interior of the drum for visible mold. Can anyone help guide us in disassembly of the unit? Hubby was under the impression from a YouTube video that there were clips about 6" in on both sides beneath the top and the bottom of the front of the washer but he has not been successful in getting those to release and we don't want to damage the washer.

Thanks!
