I have been getting the "LF" Long Fill code during the wash mode (Normal or Small Load). Pulled the inlet plastic screens and still get the code. Inlet water flow is fine.
A. I have tried the Wash Mode with warm water and also just cold water settings. Did it mostly just warm and not cold. BUT now does it on both settings.

The drum does fill with water and appears to be more than normal when the LF occurs.

When I run the washer in the non wash mode, ie Rinse, Drain, Spin mode all is ok!

Are the valves AP6017174 or AP6017175 the likely culprits?
Seems like it would be the double valve on the cold water inlet, as it does it on cold wash but not cold rinse?

Then there is the Switch-WI and that may be responsible: AP6016039
Perhaps it isn't working in the Wash mode, but IS working on the Rinse/Drain & Spin mode?

I'm thinking the Switch at this point......checked the upper part of the hose and it feels ok.
Disconnected the hose and connected to 60psi water and heard flow into drum...seems ok.
Several electrical connections so perhaps the logic is not triggering off the valves on the wash cycle, but does on the rinse/drain & spin mode.

Could be the sensitivity of the Switch as in the Rinse/Drain & Spin Mode the water takes a different route thru the Dispenser and may create a higher pressure in the sensing hose to the Switch. Whereas, the water going thru the Dispenser via the wash liquid may be a little slower and create less pressure in the hose than in the past and now is no longer high enough to trigger the Switch.

Ordered a new Switch-WI

Replaced the Switch-WI and still getting the LF.
The hose appears to be fine; did run pressurized water thru it and into drum.

Does this mean the only logical piece would be the CPU?

Found the problem......it is the hose from the Switch-WI to the bottom of the drum. Slit cut by the drum which has a strap with a sharp edge.

Q. How do I get to the bottom of the hose....back off or bottom?

GOT IT!

Took off the back of the washer and was able to cut out the part of the hose with the worn spot. Use a piece of poly stiff tubing to splice the hose together and moved the styro covering down over the tube to protect...it was too high in the first place to protect against the sharp piece of plastic on the drum.

All works well now. :)
