I have a GE side by side with water and ice through the door. The top halves of both the freezer and refrigerator are warm. The coils are not froze over so I decided the evaporator fan needed replaced. I have replaced the fan but it still does not run. What are the chances that both the thermistor in the freezer and the one in the refrigerator are bad? Could one have been bad and I did not notice and now the second one has failed? The only other thing I can see would be the main control board and it says that is very unlikely. Thanks.
