Sounds like the venting could be clogged or restricted try running it with the venting off for a little bit to be able to tell if it changes. You cannot do this for long as it is unsafe to vent gas fumes in the house. Also if you are testing it without the fron panel on it could be cutting off on the cycling thermostat prematurely as it does not create the correct air flow

With the front panel off even with sensors and all attached it is impossible for you to get an accurate picture of what your flame looks like during a normal dry because it throws off your air flow (gigantic gaping hole where front panel normally is) older machines used to have a "peekhole" so you could see exactly what it was doing. How long approximately is your vent and how many elbows does it have. Finally what is the original complaint? Not drying clothes?

After watching the video it is clear. Too lazy of a flame it's cutting off too soon because the drum is not there. Your blower sucks air from the flame box through the drum. Without the drum your flame isn't being pulled towards the back of the burner box. Put everything back together and run it. If it's not drying clothes still then you need to look more at venting issues.

2 things. First... the whole dryer has to be assembled in order for you to get proper air flowing through the machine. Yes this means you cannot see the inside flame or anything, unfortunately this is what we must struggle with on a daily basis anymore. Second if your still having "short cycling" with the venting unattatched, you are most likely looking at a bad thermistor (device that detects temperature) or a bad main control. On this not I give LG credit on the fact that controls for your particular model don't fail too often from what I've seen. True test is swap the thermistor from the dryer you are not using and reassemble and run a load. If this does not work you may have to purchase some brand new parts to be certain they are not bad. Let me know what happens or if you have any further questions. I want to get your machine fixed.

If it does the same exact thing it could be. Unless you used the Thermistor out of that one to get the other tobrun
