So the drain pump is the problem not the hoses next to it. Its been leaking for a bit so there are water stains. See pics. Pump still works (no blown fuses), and I can't find any cracks in the housing or damage to the rubber seal. So is it common to have the drive shaft to the impeller develop a leak? Could it just the seating of the gasket to the drain pump in which case I would think a little gasket seal would work? Or am I just asking for trouble doing that. When I tipped the washer on its side I had a lot of extra water came out if that helps with the diagnose. Unfortunately could not figure out if it was from the gasket or the impeller shaft though. Motor is wet now so just spinning my wheels, and wondering if I should just order a new pump. Any help would definitely be appreciated.
