Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/27/2016(UTC) Posts: 1		I noticed late this evening that several things were starting to thaw in our chest freezer. I unplugged it and emptied it and put everything outside in coolers since it is so cold out (YAY!)...and then I noticed that a flat box was stuck up against the air intake. After I cleaned it out well, I plugged it back in and it is running. Will it work correctly? I have no idea how long that box has been there! What happens if that air intake is blocked? (Beside the food thawing) THANKS!

All you can do is run it and check the temperature. [COLOR="Blue"]What happens if that air intake is blocked?[/COLOR] It could cause the compressor to overheat and perhaps damage it.
