If you machine is really less than one year old it should be under factory warranty. If not, try switching the hot and cold connectors at the inlet valve. If hot water comes in instead of cold and no cold water comes in when it calls for hot then the problem is that 110volts is not getting to the valves. This could be the temp selection switch or the timer/control unit.
