Hello all,

I have a GE Washer that will start filling with hot (or warm) water for about a minute. After that the hot water shuts off as if it was full. However, at that point you can switch the water to warm or cold and it will fill up the rest of the way and cycle perfectly. If you just run cold water it works perfectly. It's also not like the hot water doesn't work at all. I've replaced the timer as it previously broke and the switch. Any ideas ? It's an odd problem.

I'm thinking of trying this

Valve Tripple Water
by GE
Part Number AP5985821
MFG Part Number WH13X23974

It's strange that the hot water works for a very short time at the beginning of the cycle.
