I have a Whirlpool Duet sport washer that is not working.
When we start it the door locks but nothing happens. Lights come on but nothing. When it is ran through diagnostics the lights go but no water or sound.
I pulled the top off the check and make sure all the connections are tight.
What could it be?

I assume you are working with the tech notes that should be inside the lower service panel.

With these models you should be able to generate error codes, but if you cannot that suggests the main control board is at fault. Try replacing it and if you order the part from this site you can return it if the new control unit does not solve the problem.

The other potential sources are the door lock mechanism, the wiring between the door lock and the control unit and the motor control board.

Thank you and we are using the tech notes and no error code. I will order the control board.
