There is a small amount of water dripping from around the gasket on the door of the washer (small amount with each load - about 1-2 tablespoons). I noticed it feels wet about 3-4" up the left side of the gasket and the water drips down around to the bottom of the gasket and then onto the floor. I don't see any tears or holes in the gasket. The gasket appears intact and fairly clean.
Is there any other place I should check to determine what is leaking before I spend a $100 or more on a gasket?

I have a ge front load and had the same problem. I replaced the water inlet valve and it took care of the problem. Although it seem it would be the door gasket,it is not. If you don't want to spend money on a inlet valve ($70) just shut of the water on the switch on your wall after each load.
