Hi, the washer is locked. It does not agitate and it does not spin. I tried to manually move the tub or the agitator, and they're locked.
However, I was able to check the drive belt and it is in good condition. If I manually move the the belt in one direction, both the tub and agitator (slowly) move, and if I turn the belt in the other direction, only the agitator turns.
Can you please help me to diagnose?
Thanks, Celso

Operate it with the front panel off. This will tell you if the problem is with the motor or with the transmission. Sounds like the motor may be the issue.

Thanks for the feedback. When I did the tests I described, the washer was unplugged from power. Is that what you mean by operate it with the front panel off? If so, what does it tells?
Thanks

Plug it in and put some clothes in and operate with the panel off. You can then see when it goes into agitate cycle whether or not the motor is running but the transmission is not turning, or whether or not the motor is not running.
