Hey Appliance Pros,
I am having trouble with the washing machine portion of my GE Combo Washer Dryer (WSM2700DAWWW) not filling up with water when I start a wash cycle. I have opened the water valve and I think water is passing through the hoses. I can start the wash cycle and get it to spin in the rinse portion of the cycle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If what you are saying is that the machine will go through a complete rinse cycle then that suggests that there is nothing mechanically wrong with the washer and that the problem is with the timer. First see if it will start the wash cycle in other cycles, and if so that is further evidence of a problem with the timer.
