I have been having issues with getting my Beverage Air refrigerator to consistently cycle on when needed to cool to the thermostat set point. Here is what I have noticed.
Refrigerant is good, fridge cools well and when it decides to cycle on...when it runs to hold consistent temp, all is good, no frosting or evap or anything.
Touching the thermostat knob, around it, adjusting it, switching the evap fan switch or even closing the door hard on the unit will make it start working again after it hadn't been working.
Is there a grounding issue with the thermostat? or just a failing thermostat? Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what advise do you have for the problem? How hard/easy is it to replace a thermostat like this. I have tracked down a replacement, I just wanted to ask the pros before I proceeded. Thanks.

I have no experience with this unit and cannot find any tech or parts info on it.
I can tell you that the symptoms you give point to a bad control thermostat. |
