Hello all,

I recently purchased a used Whirlpool LSQ9010PG2 on Craigslist. Upon running it for the first time I noticed it did not drain. I ran the drain tube to a clean out near the floor and it drained until the water level evened out in the pump system leaving the drum empty but the clothes soaked, my assumption is that it didn't hit final spin. I started thinking lid switch, but I checked it and it has been bypassed and removed (white wire to grey wire). I can turn it on final spin manually after gravity draining and the clothes are less damp, more normal for finishing a cycle. Any idea what my issue is? I'd like to not have to move my drain hose to wash clothes! It syphons when I leave it low. Any help is appreciated.

Is the drain pump coming on at the end of the cycle? It should drain down, then begin to spin and drain at the same time.
