I have a maytag centennial electric dryer. stopped running and I checked the thermal fuses they were good tapped on the timer that wasn't operating and it began to work for a couple hours. timer is not working again and my dryer seems to not turn on without the timer operating . should I replace the timer ? I would hate to spend 90 bucks and not know for sure. Anyone here offer this dude some advice?
