freezer runs all the time i was told it was the control temp and bought the part #216715400. do you have a tutorial showing how to replace it.

Hi, rlh1104.

To change over the cold control in your freezer first of all unplug it! Then pull out the bottom drawer and shelfs. Pull the control knob off the control's shaft. You will see two clips on the side of the exposed opening that holds the cold control. Use a flat screwdriver to release this clips. Remove, looks like, ten phillips head screws and pull out the rear cover panel. Take two wires off the cold control terminals and remove the end of the sensing tube from the plastic holder. Install the new cold control in reverse procession, just clip the cold control on to the opening in the cover panel before installing the panel on.
