We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer unit new about 3 years ago and have enjoyed issue free performance until now. All cycles wash just fine but no matter what type of wash you select, it always does its rinse spin on super high speed. The tub spins so fast and is very loud - you would think the thing is about to fly apart.
I enetered self diag. mode and everything was fine, no fault codes. I was thinking it might be a shifter issue but this is a direct drive unit. Since every function checks out I can only surmise that the main control board has an issue.
I would appreaciate input from anyone. I hate to spend $260 on a board and still have the issue.

Thanks
