My maytag bravos mct will not finish a cycle. It fills spins agitates drains quickly and everything just fine. It gets stuck on the final drain, however. After all the water is drained and gets ready for its final spin, I can hear the drain pump still running and it keeps agitating back and forth. The drain pump will run and the washer will continue to agitate until I cancel the cycle. The washer won't ever go into its final spin even though it has no problems spinning earlier in the cycle.
I have taken the drum out and found no obstructions and no water (drain works fine). F71 error code when running diagnostics. I have also filled tub with water and rinsed several times so I know it isn't a suds problem. Please help!!

I am still stumped by on this. Took the drain pump apart and everything is clear and running. Ran diagnostics and everything checks out until step c8 where it gets stuck draining again.
During the final drain I can hear the last of the water being pumped out of the machine but the drain pump will continue to run dry as long as I let it go. I'm wondering if I need a new control board? Is there any sensors that detect when the water is drained and spin is supposed to start? Any thoughts?

just about to buy a new control board but hoping you found a solution.
