So, my Samsung DW quit working mid-cycle and flashed an oE error code. It I cycled the power on and off a couple times, and would get the code about 30 seconds into after closing the door. I also cycled the breaker and same result. In order to pull the unit, I used my shop vac to suck out all the water in the bottom to minimize water spillage while removing the DW unit.

-The water level was normal, it didn't try to over-fill. So, I'm thinking its NOT the water level sensor.
-In order to test the drain pathway, I undid the drain hose, verified it was clear of any obstructions, and ran it directly into the kitchen sink (zero possible resistance).
-When I hooked it back up in a temp. fashion, it started just fine, but quit part way through the cycle, again, normal water level left in the unit.
-sucked the water out again, and then opened the base and pulled the drain pump to see if there was any blockages. No mechanical blockages, no debris.
-the pump lists clearly it's a 120v~, .3 amp pump, 60Hz. So.... I tested some power to the leads. The pump did NOT try to spin.

So I'm thinking it's the pump, are there any other tests I can do before just throwing a part (pump) at this unit?

Thanks!

Try changing out the case brake assembly located on the left hand side of the unit.
