The heat coil comes on and off. I replaced the smaller fuse 53-1182 as the guy that checked the old one said it was bad. 53-0771 was good fuse. I the coil supposed to come (glow orange) on and off or stay on? Dryer spins and all else is good, it seems:confused:
Thanks for any insight

It is supposed to cycle on/off. That's how the dryer maintains the proper temperature.
