I do understand that an F2 code does not necessarily mean the oven overheated. I do not believe it had or did. From What I can understand the ERC reads the resistance of the circuit and sets the code. The oven sensor reads 1089 ohms. That should be good. I have examined the connector to the ERC, it looks good. The Fan limit switch and thermal limit switch at the locking motor are good. My question is: Can the door switch circuit due to excessive resistance cause the ERC to set the F2 code? Also the contacts on the bake and broil relays are not welded. If they were the element(s) would stay "on" as I understand it. The fan does run, as I tested it with a 120 volts. Can someone give me some help on this? Thanks.
