Machine washes but doesn't spin clothes during wash cycle. I've replaced motor coupling, clutch, agitator dogs and lid switch but same results. after cycle is done, clothes are still wet. I have to open lid and manually spin tub and start cycle to spin again. After a couple tries, the agitator begins to spin during the cycle. What could be culprit and how do you fix? Possible solutions? Thank you.

Well, the agitator dogs have nothing to do with spin and if the lid switch was bad, it wouldn't agitate either so we can count those out. Where did you get the clutch from? If it's an $8 one from amazon, get rid of it and get a real one. If clutch is a genuine Whirlpool FSP part then your ok. (your Kenmore is actually made by Whirlpool). You could have a problem with sticking brakes or the drive block may be worn out. Another possibility is the transmission. You should not be able to easily rotate the basket by hand. If you can, then the drive block is the most likely problem.
