Won't agitate when I filled the tub manually with buckets of water. Although it will spin and drain if I set the knob to the spin position. What could be the cause? Is it the timer or sensor switch problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!!

Open control panel and disconnect the two wire connector from fabric softener switch and jump the wires together (should be violet and blue/orange wires). See if agitation works now, doesn't have to have water in tub. If no agitation, then looks like faulty timer. If it does agitate, then replace the fabric softener switch. So I replaced the load sense unit/fabric softener switch also. Now the washing machine will agitates while filling. Any way to fix this problem? Many Thanks!
