Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/10/2014(UTC) Posts: 1		Noticed the under hood lights were out, bought new appliance bulbs and installed, new light bulb illuminated immediately when screwed in so I attempt to hit the "light" button on keypad, hear the beep, but light bulb stays on. I have unplugged power and screwed in second bulb and plug power back in, both bulbs are illuminated and "light" button does nothing to turn them off.

Therefore it sounds like your control board needs replacing. If you decide to do this be very very careful as microwaves use high voltage and are dangerous unless you know what you are doing.
