I have an LG 2526W gas dryer that stopped heating. I checked the thermostat, high heat thermostat, and I think a flame sensor and they all had continuity. So, I figured it was the solenoids on the gas valve. With the LG, you have to buy the whole thing. So, I bought one and replaced the old one. IT STILL WILL NOT TURN GAS ON!!! The ignitor glows for some seconds and then goes off. I do not hear the gas valve clicking on. I do not smell gas. I verified that I do have gas to the gas valve. I rechecked all the sensors and all have continuity. I need help. Can someone help me???? Thanks.:)

Could it be the control panel? Does anyone know what the reading should be at the solenoids on the gas valve? I really hope it is not the control panel, but I don't know what else it could be. Any help?????

I checked my wires going to the gas valve. The wires going to the lower right solenoid (when standing in front of the dryer looking in) read 130's/140's volts (DC) when the igniter coil heats up. The other wire going to the upper left solenoid never changes volts (stays at 30-40 volts DC) when the igniter coil heats up. Does anyone know what they should be reading? Seems like the one solenoid is not getting the power to open up. Can someone smarter than I please help me out???? Thanks.
