i need to change my defrost timer part # 482493 for my ET22DKXFN00 fridge. It has a black wire for the motor timer lead. I can't find the schematic. What terminal do I use to connect the timer motor. Thanks!

See the attachment for your wiring diagram. Looks like yours is a Version 2 Cumulative set up so it goes to terminal 2. I am assuming you have the timer's data sheet so you can double check this. |

Hey again. I notice that the wire colors on the connector are Orange, Pink, White and Red, just like in the schematic. They also correspond to the terminal numbers on the old timer. In the install instructions that came with the replacement timer however, with the black lead on Terminal 2, this is for "Procedure 2" and the wire code listed is different. "Procedure 3" lists the proper color code for the connector, but has the black timer lead on Terminal 1. Should I just disregard how the install instructions has the color code listed and keep with Terminal 2? Thanks!
