hi- my son overloaded my washer. it now makes a clicking noise, and does not aggitate properly. i've read several possible causes...none as a result of over loading. any suggestions?? i'd appreciate it!!

If the upper section of the agitator fails to move, you have busted agitator paws inside.Remove the bolt at the top of the agitator and remove agitator. Stand on the bottom of it and pull the top section off, you will then see the agitator dogs.

hi- the top does move...but i took my hand and manually turned it, and the very bottom does not move with it. could it still be the "dogs" ?
