The oven control on my GE free standing range started malfunctioning over 3 years ago. The display would go off and stay off for varying lengths of time. Sometimes it would stay on and work fine for several days or weeks then it would go out again. I ordered another control board from a dealer on ******** and it too has been doing the same thing for weeks now.
They will not allow me to return it because I installed the part.
I have checked the power supply to the range and it is 240 volts and all of the connections to the control board are tight and have no corrosion.
Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I came home from work and decided to check the connections in my outside service panel. the neutral wire that feeds my oven was loose and after i tightened it up the control works just fine.
