When the washer hits the spin cycle with a heavy load, the tub often goes out of balance and hits the outer tub causing the washer to "walk". This can usually be helped by redistributing the clothes in the washer but often it is quite difficult to get it to stop completely. Otherwise the washer sits stable on the floor and seems to function properly with a lighter load. I do not recall this problem during the first few years of operation.
