When the washer hits the spin cycle with a heavy load, the tub often goes out of balance and hits the outer tub causing the washer to "walk". This can usually be helped by redistributing the clothes in the washer but often it is quite difficult to get it to stop completely. Otherwise the washer sits stable on the floor and seems to function properly with a lighter load. I do not recall this problem during the first few years of operation. Thank you for any insight you can provide.

I had the same problem ... it only got worse.... I replaced the snubber ring and it solved the problem!!! it only cost 5 dollars for the part... a little involved but well worth it....you can do a Youtube search on snubber ring replacement ...there are all kinds of videos out there... try this one ...it was VERY GOOD!!
